A relaxing last couple of days. After returning from our still-inexplicable dream and its torturous arays of numbers (although we did finally pass the silly statuette room, and any progress is good really) we hung around town a bit and went to visit Chias to ask him about our dreams. I failed to find a suitable chef or valet before we left, so once again we made do with simple trail provisions, but I am becoming accustomed to sleeping under the stars. Perhaps some combination could be devised where I could open my roof at home on clear days and still sleep on a feather mattress...a trapdoor in the ceiling perhaps?

Chias told us about another group from a long time ago that had similar dreams to ours, or at least seemed to gain power from their dreams. They founded the city of Sola, which it appears I know more about than Chias does. All that studying has come in handy once again. I shall reapply myself to my studies with ever greater devotion when we return to the city.

On my suggestion, Chias will observe us next time we are prepared to train for greater powers and are likely to enter the dream again. He also gave us a method to trigger the dream when we want to and to possibly control the dream...no more toying with buttons and levers for us! Doors will open before the combined force of our will! If this works...

We then returned home and rested up for the upcoming party. I did some research on Sola, we tried to find a friend of Vaugner's father who had been there but without success, and I replaced the skin on my drum. I also auditioned more chefs but the quality that is turning out for my extremely generous salary offer is not nearly what I would have hoped.
