We decided to go back to Clide's barn, the go into the dream. But first, we got to wait three days for Vernon to train. We got to watch Malif build a shed for Clide. Wheeee! The joys of country living!

We went back to Sola (in the dream) for our second try. This time, we at least got the attention of the big guys to tell them what was coming. Vernon was awesome as a cleric with a vision (only slightly marred by his difficulty remembering the name of the city or of his god - that's some powerful amnesia!). We MAY have averted Sola's downfall by the lizardmen. Or not. Still unexplained - why do the history books say Sola fell differently? My theory: the Belar say that to emphasize how untrustworthy humans are, lending moral authority to their dominance. Stinking Belar.

After this gloriously uncertain success, we decided to must the courage (or the randomness) to enter the forbidden cave (on the "dot" of the map). It turns out to be just like the dream we went through ages (well, months) ago - puzzles with levers, colors, and numbers. The obvious difference is that deaths here won't be "just kidding"...
